Gatz:  Private Command Performance, and a Cocktail Party with the Cast

Gatz5_MarkBartonDid you love Gatz and wish you could see it again? Did you miss the show the New York Times called “the most remarkable achievement in theater of the decade” and have been yearning to see what the fuss was all about? Now you can get a glimpse of the play performed just for you and your friends  —  you decide where and when the performance happens! You throw a party, or open up your office after-hours, invite your friends or co-workers, and we’ll bring a special cocktail, music, and perform the wild party scene from Gatz.

in which Nick gets drunk at Tom and Myrtle’s love nest
  • A Gatsby-inspired cocktail handcrafted by cocktail historian Phillip Greene
  • The Gatz playlist custom-made by Sound Designer Ben Williams
  • One astonishing round of “Stump the Freak” where your guests can test lead actor
Scott Shepherd’s memorization of the entire novel.
  • A keepsake hardcover edition of The Great Gatsby, signed by the company

Note: We will work with the winning bidder to make all your Gatz dreams come true, but some limitations may apply. Location must be in New York City and be approved by ERS; number of guests and mutually agreeable date to be arranged.

One Week in Italian Villa

Enjoy one week in a restored stone farmhouse perched high in the Umbrian hills, the family home of ERS’ Producing Director Ariana Smart Truman. Ariana will have a trip-planning session with you (while drinking some Umbrian wine, natch), sharing her list of favorite local restaurants and can’t-miss activities. John Collins’ mom Jackie stayed there and describes it as  “Stunning 360° views, comfortable authentic Italian home, close to wonderful small villages, and an idyllic vacation spot.”

La Pietra, a two-floor stone farmhouse which sleeps 13, is the perfect place for a family reunion, or any group seeking a special place from which to view the unforgettable Tuscan and Umbrian countryside. The house has spectacular views and a large infinity pool.

La Pietra was carefully restored in the early nineties using the old materials—stone, terra cotta, and massive chestnut beams—merging gracefully with the spectacular landscape. The house offers beauty mixed with modern comfort, and the whole house is exclusively yours.  Each of the two floors has private entrances, and their own chef’s kitchens, opening on to terraces for lounging and outdoor dining.

6 double bedrooms and 4 baths (sleeps 13)  |   High Season: May 28 – September 3  |    Donor: Altabella Properties

Value:   $5,000
